Metalist LLC manufactures UEAS energy systems (100–2000 kW) for the automatic combustion of wood waste. These systems operate using wood waste—such as sawdust, shavings, wood chips, fuel pellets, and briquettes—as well as milled peat, shredded biomass, and husks.
Active in the Ukrainian market since 1999, Metalist LLC offers energy systems that help solve waste disposal challenges—handling materials like sawdust, shavings, wood scraps, sunflower husks, and straw—while simultaneously generating an abundant supply of low-cost heat. The widespread adoption of band sawmills in production created difficulties regarding the combustion of fine-particle fuel; however, this issue has now been resolved. Through specific design modifications, our systems enable the automatic combustion of sawdust (from both frame and band sawmills) with moisture content up to 70%, as well as sunflower husks. Lump wood waste, coal, peat briquettes, and straw can also be burned simultaneously within the boiler's combustion chamber.
- These systems are designed for hot water supply, space heating (water-based), drying chambers, greenhouses, and other applications, as well as for providing heat for industrial processes.
- The UEAS energy system consists of a boiler with the appropriate heat output capacity and an Automatic Combustion System (ACS). - The SAS-500, SAS-800, SAS-1000, SAS-1500, and SAS-2000 models are used for burning sawdust (sawmill waste) with a moisture content of up to 70%.
- In the event of a power outage or other emergency, lump waste, briquettes, coal, or mixtures thereof can be burned in the boiler furnace to maintain the process.
- Boiler outlet water temperature: 95°C.
- Operating water pressure: up to 2.5 atm (up to 4.5 atm upon request).
- Boilers are tested at a pressure of 3 atm (up to 6 atm upon request).
- System efficiency: 76%.
- Payback period for our systems: one heating season.
Metalist LLC holds all legal rights and permits to manufacture hot-water boilers with a capacity of up to 1.6 MW (1600 kW).
Since 2006, our automatic combustion systems have been widely used in drying complexes to prepare sawdust for briquetting and pelletizing.
